“When a man journeys into a far country…he must abandon the old ideals and the old gods, and oftentimes he must reverse the very codes by which his conduct has hitherto been shaped.” – In a Far Country (1899), by Jack London

About My Pseudonym
M. M. Hemhower is the pseudonym for any fantasy, science fiction, and other speculative fiction works. M. M. are abbreviations for Miller Marshall, which are names found in my father’s side of the family; while Hemhower is an Anglicization of my maternal great-grandmother’s surname Hemhauser.
I will use this pseudonym because my real name is very common and can be difficult to distinguish between myself and others with the same name. Because of that, I would want a pseudonym that is as unique as possible.
